VARO designs and builds fully automated lines for the forming, filling, and packaging of mineral boluses for dairy cows.
From mineral mix to packaged bolus – in one controlled process
In our bolus production system, the mineral mixture is formed into boluses, dried, and wax-coated to make them easier for the animal to ingest.
The bolus is then separated from its holder and placed directly into a plastic tube. The tube is sealed, inspected, and transferred to the packaging section, where robots pack the finished tubes into boxes ready for shipment.
Throughout the entire line, product handling is fully automated to ensure consistent product quality, high hygiene standards, and safe working conditions with minimal manual handling and lifting.
