Assembly Lines

At VARO, we have many years of experience developing assembly lines for industrial applications, ranging from simple installations to complex handling, assembly, and production processes.

How we tailor assembly lines to your needs

Assembly lines at VARO are developed as complete production solutions, where multiple functions are integrated into one continuous workflow. The systems combine automated and semi-automated processes, robotic operations, and operator stations—tailored to the product, production volume, and design requirements.

The solutions can handle small production runs, multiple product variants, and changing product requirements, and are often designed with high buffer capacity to ensure stable and reliable operation.

The assembly line shown in this video was developed in collaboration with Danfoss as a fully automated solution, where four collaborative robots work in coordination to assemble products. Components are picked from multiple positions and assembled in a continuous process on a servo-driven assembly table.

The system is equipped with torque monitoring to ensure correct tightening and multifunctional grippers capable of handling more than 30 pick positions per cycle. The solution also includes integrated leak testing, lid assembly, and fully automated packaging and palletizing.

This example demonstrates how complex assembly tasks can be combined into a single, stable, fully automated production line, where robotics, precision, and capacity work together seamlessly.
