A workplace built on stability, engagement, and influence
At VARO, it is not only our customers who experience the difference. As an employee, you become part of a company where the people who develop the business are also the ones who own and run it.
We are employee-owned, and ownership is an active part of our daily operations. For our employee-owners, it is important to have the opportunity to help shape the direction and future development of the company.

At VARO, there is a high level of trust and flexibility. You are given responsibility, and the company takes care of its employees when support is needed. That means a lot to me—and it is undoubtedly one of the reasons why I am still here after 25 years.
I have worked at VARO since 1999. I trained as a technical assistant—now known as a technical designer—and since graduating in 1990, I have seen tremendous development within the profession.
My work covers a wide range of tasks, and I act as a link between engineers, purchasing, and production. The variety of responsibilities is one of the things that makes my job so interesting.
I have often been the only woman in the department, but that has never been a challenge. I enjoy the environment and have always had the freedom to shape my own workday. At the same time, it is great that the women from different departments get together—whether we work in engineering, HR, finance, or elsewhere in the company.
