The packaging machine folds a corrugated cardboard wrap around the product or around a cardboard tray and seals the top and sides, ensuring the product is protected and securely fixed inside the package.
This packaging process eliminates the need for box fill or void fill materials, such as bubble wrap, and helps reduce packaging costs.

Uniform products such as books, DVDs, vinyl records, or similar items are packed in protective corrugated cardboard packaging. The packaging machine can handle multiple product sizes simultaneously without adjustments or changes to the packaging material.

Variable, loose products
The E-Com Packer can easily pack loose, multiple, and variable products in the same corrugated cardboard wrap. For very lightweight, soft, or fragile products, a cardboard tray (Fold2Protect) can be used. The tray is packed together with the products, providing stability and consistency throughout the package.

What is Fold2Protect?
For further optimization of the packaging process, VARO has developed Fold2Protect in collaboration with a packaging specialist. Fold2Protect is an inner tray made from 100% corrugated cardboard that can be fed directly into the machine and packed as an integrated part of the packaging.
Fold2Protect is an optional solution and is particularly well suited for packing very lightweight or highly fragile products. It can also be used directly as a picking tray in the warehouse.
